Configuration Manager

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the company's configuration management framework.
• Establish configuration governance, processes, and change control procedures.
• Manage aircraft configuration baselines and product integrity throughout development.
• Ensure effective control of engineering changes and configuration data.
• Work with Engineering, Airworthiness, and Certification teams to maintain configuration conformity.
• Support implementation and optimisation of PLM and configuration management tools.
• Drive best practice across the organisation as the programme matures.

Requirements

• Significant configuration management experience within aerospace or aviation is required.
• Experience supporting new aircraft development or certification programmes is required.
• Strong understanding of engineering change control, baselines, and product lifecycle management is required.
• Experience implementing or developing configuration management processes is required.
• Familiarity with PLM tools such as Teamcenter, Polarion, or similar platforms is advantageous.
• The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving engineering environment.

Package

• The package is AED 30,000 to AED 42,000 per month, dependent on experience and qualifications.
• The package includes an annual performance bonus.
• The package includes comprehensive family medical insurance.
• The package includes a schooling allowance for up to three children.
• The package includes an annual flight allowance.
• Visa and relocation support are included.
