Computer Numerical Control Operator

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Verify job orders and check equipment functions for safety.
• Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform tasks.
• Set up and manage CNC machines, changing chuck jaw inserts to match the job order.
• Locate the correct program in machines from the job order.
• Ensure tooling is correct for the thread type from the connection sheet and job order.
• Change machine offsets and tooling for size corrections per work standard.
• Perform gauging and measurement during setup and insert changes.
• Solve common machining problems.
• Record production quantity, reworks, tool usage, and results.
• Prepare and load raw materials and parts into machines.
• Check product output against job order and TDS to ensure quality.
• Perform Auto Control, 5S, TPM, and AM checklists and keep machines checked and cleaned.

Education and Experience

• Necessary: high school or equivalent.
• Wished: diploma in manufacturing.
• Necessary: 3 months as a production operator on the job or previous experience.
• Wished: familiarity with CNC and similar operations, or VAM School.

Linguistic Knowledge

• Language 1: English required.
• Language 2: Arabic.
