- Develops ICW and supporting documentation
- Participates in the development, testing, maintenance, and delivery of training programs and related materials
- Develops learning objectives and criterion-referenced tests
- Selects instructional media, materials, and equipment to meet learning objectives
- Updates course documentation on a continual basis to ensure timeliness, quality, accuracy, and relevance
- Works directly with team members to meet all customer requirements and deliver training products within time frame, scope, and budget
- Applies appropriate Department of Defense (DoD), government, or customer standards/specifications
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Possesses excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and COTS authoring tools, such as Adobe Captivate or Articulate
- Demonstrates a fundamental understanding of training product standards and instructional design processes
- Completes work in an organized and efficient manner
- Demonstrates excellent attention to detail
- Provides concise communication
- Applies excellent written/grammar skills
- Thrives in a team environment
- Quickly adapts to process changes
- Knowledge of the USN’s Ready Relevant Learning (RRL) initiative
- Prior experience working in a collaborative environment for a detailed courseware development effort
- Prior experience on a contractor courseware development team for DoD products
- Courseware development experience with AIM domains
