Compounding Pharmacist (Sterile and Non sterile)

About This Role

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Compounding Pharmacist with expertise in both sterile and non-sterile preparations. The ideal candidate will have UAE experience, strong knowledge of regulatory standards, and an interest in developing innovative formulations including peptides and hormone therapies.

Key Responsibilities Sterile Compounding

• Prepare and dispense sterile compounded medications (injectables, IV preparations, ophthalmic solutions)
• Ensure compliance with UAE health authority regulations (DHA / MOH / DOH)
• Maintain aseptic techniques in cleanroom environments
• Perform environmental monitoring and sterility assurance

Non-Sterile Compounding

• Prepare customized formulations such as creams, ointments, capsules, and suspensions
• Develop patient-specific medications based on prescriptions
• Ensure accuracy in dosage calculations and formulation techniques

Peptide & Advanced Compounding

• Research and develop new peptide formulations and hormone therapies
• Work on innovative solutions for aesthetic, anti-aging, and wellness treatments
• Ensure stability, compatibility, and safety of formulations

Quality & Compliance

• Maintain proper documentation (batch records, SOPs, COA verification)
• Ensure compliance with GMP and compounding standards
• Conduct quality checks and maintain inventory control

Collaboration & Operations

• Work closely with doctors and healthcare professionals
• Provide guidance on customized therapies
• Train junior staff and ensure adherence to protocols

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Pharmacy
• Valid UAE Pharmacist License (DHA / MOH / DOH)
• Minimum 2–5 years UAE experience in compounding pharmacy
• Strong knowledge of sterile & non-sterile compounding techniques
• Experience or strong interest in peptides and hormone formulations
• Familiarity with cleanroom operations and aseptic techniques

Skills

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Good communication and teamwork skills

Preferred

• Experience in wellness / anti-aging compounding
• Knowledge of advanced compounding and peptide therapies
