We are seeking a highly skilled
Compliance Specialist
to support and strengthen our regulatory compliance framework across virtual asset services, investment activities, and financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with UAE regulatory requirements, including Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) regulations, AML/CFT obligations, and international standards established by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF).
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls relating to AML, CFT, KYC, sanctions screening, and customer due diligence.
- Monitor client onboarding, transaction activity, and investment operations to identify suspicious activities and regulatory risks.
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports, suspicious transaction reports (STRs), and other compliance filings as required by regulatory authorities
- Act as a key point of contact with regulators, auditors, banking partners, and external compliance consultants.
- Provide compliance guidance to management and business teams regarding new products, services, and regulatory developments.
- Deliver compliance training programs and awareness initiatives to employees.
- Monitor developments in UAE virtual asset regulations, financial services legislation, FATF recommendations, and international compliance best practices.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 5 years in compliance roles within
- SCA-regulated or UAE-licensed financial services / virtual asset entities
- Proven track record of supporting or leading
- regulatory audits, SCA inspections, or licensing submissions.
- Strong understanding of UAE AML regulations, FATF standards, sanctions compliance, and risk-based compliance frameworks.
