We are currently recruiting for a
Tax compliance specialist
for our client to be based out of Dubai.
Purpose-
Part of accounting team, reporting to Gulf CAO; working closely with accounting team and other internal (finance, global tax, etc.) and external stakeholders (external tax advisors, FTA, etc.) when needed.
Responsibility-
- Manage monthly VAT compliance processes in-house, ensuring timely and accurate filings.
- Oversee annual Corporate Income Tax (CIT) compliance in coordination with external advisors.
- Support Transfer Pricing (TP) compliance activities in collaboration with external consultants.
- Work closely with accounting, finance, and global tax teams on tax-related accounting entries and reporting matters.
- Provide support and guidance to local accounting, finance, tendering, and other business units on the tax implications of various transactions.
- Handle communication with the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) for queries, tax audits, ESR audits, and other regulatory matters.
- Coordinate with international teams and external advisors on tax matters related to foreign branches of UAE entities.
Skills-
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar role with a focus on UAE taxation.
- Strong knowledge of VAT, Corporate Tax, and Transfer Pricing regulations in the UAE.
- Experience liaising with regulatory authorities such as the FTA.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders.
