Compliance Monitoring and Testing Specialist

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Perform compliance reviews aligned with the bank’s policies and local regulations, reporting findings to function lead.
• Identify regulatory weaknesses and areas of non-compliance, providing recommendations for corrective actions.
• Periodically monitor and follow-up on the status of corrective actions to ensure timely resolution.
• Contribute to the production of Management Information reports summarizing review findings for senior management.
• Assist in conducting special investigations or reviews as directed by the function lead.
• To keep abreast of regulatory developments and to review changes to regulation, analyse its impact for the bank and advise the regional management on changes necessary to meet new or revised regulatory requirements.
• Perform other additional tasks as required from time to time directed by the function lead.
• What are we looking for?
• Bachelor’s Degree or Higher in Management, Banking or Finance, preferably with certification in compliance, risk management or internal audit. Legal background is a plus.
• At least 3-5 years of business experience preferably in Compliance and/or Audit in Banks.
• Excellent understanding of regional laws and regulations
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior management and various departments.
• Ability to generate ideas, think creatively, develop innovative solutions and build effective business relationships quickly
• Preferably bilingual, Fluent in Arabic and English with strong written and verbal skills
• Attention to detail with the ability to manage and prioritize tasks.
• Discrete and has sense for integrity and handles highly sensitive information with absolute confidentiality
