About you
You are an organised and visible leader who enjoys variety and takes pride in creating environments where people feel welcome, supported and well looked after.
You understand that excellent service is shaped by the small everyday details, from how a customer is greeted and how a shared space is presented to whether maintenance concerns are followed up promptly.

Experience managing multiple customer-facing services, facilities or hospitality operations
Leadership experience gained in a hotel, retirement village, community living environment, large caravan or holiday park, resort or similar service-based setting
Demonstrated experience leading employees and contractors
Experience managing budgets, suppliers, stock, service performance and operational priorities
The ability to improve customer experience, service quality, presentation, systems and commercial performance
An understanding of maintenance planning, workplace health and safety, food service and contractor management
Strong judgement and communication skills when working with residents, families, employees, visitors and external service providers
The ability to balance commercial outcomes with quality, safety and a positive customer experience
A relevant leadership or management qualification, or equivalent practical experience
The ability to meet NewDirection Care’s applicable screening and employment requirements
Experience within aged care would be advantageous, but it is not essential. We are particularly interested in transferable operational leadership experience from environments that combine accommodation, hospitality, facilities and community services.
