This role is responsible for managing and coordinating relationships with agencies, suppliers, and key stakeholders to ensure compliant digital coverage and product availability.
The position drives digital campaigns, corporate events, disease-awareness initiatives, and promotional content across the organisation’s portfolio.
In this social media and communications capacity, the role shapes the company’s digital presence by developing brand strategy, producing multimedia content, and fostering meaningful audience engagement.
Key Performance Areas
Business performance
1.
Develop and maintain an editorial calendar across platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, website and any other social media, and online engagement platforms.
2.
Develop and implement content strategy for the organisation’s official website, ensuring it remains current and reflects accurate, relevant information in alignment with the IT team
3.
Write and edit compelling copies of posts, captions, newsletters, and press releases
4.
Develop engaging visual and multimedia content, including graphics, short form videos and reels.
5.
Plan and coordinate product launch initiatives, ensuring promotional events, digital campaigns, and stakeholder engagements, especially managing media relations, agency communications and communications with UAE pharmaceutical government authorities, are executed within agreed timelines.
6.
Monitor and report on budget variance, providing detailed analysis of spending patterns and recommendations for resource reallocation to improve performance
Partners And Customer
1.
Monitor social channels for comments, direct messages, and brand mentions to maintain active two-way communication with the audience.2.
Manage public relations, handle customer inquiries, and implement reputation/crisis management protocols when necessary.3.
Organize and execute corporate events, ensuring high participant satisfaction through professional event management.4.
Negotiate and manage all social media and communication related agreements including speaker contracts, vendor agreements, and agency partnerships, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
5.
Coordinate with external influencers, media partners, or agencies to amplify brand messaging.
People & Development
1.
Lead and manage the designer direct report, providing regular coaching, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities
2.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, medical affairs, regulatory, and business development to ensure integrated marketing approaches
3.
Actively participate in professional development activities to stay abreast of evolving digital marketing trends and pharmaceutical industry regulations
4.
Execute regular CRM performance reviews with team members to identify optimization opportunities and implement process improvements based on user feedback and system analytics
Quality And Leadership
1.
Formulate and implement social media growth strategy tied to specific key performance indicators (KPI)
2.
Track and analyze engagement metrics, traffic, and audience demographics.
3.
Translate data into actionable reports to refine future content and campaign efforts.
4.
Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical marketing regulations, company policies, and quality standards for all promotional materials and marketing communications
Qualifications
1.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or related field required
Experience
1.
A minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in corporate communications, PR, and multi-channel campaign execution within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
Skills
1.
High level of proficiency in English, demonstrating the ability to read, write, and communicate verbally.
Proficiency in Arabic is an added advantage.
2.
Advanced skills in data analysis, reporting, and marketing performance measurement.
3.
Analytical and strategic thinking skills, specifically related to Corporate Communications, PR and media relations, and managing communication with UAE pharmaceutical government authorities
4.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality and compliance
5.
Excellent communication and presentation skills for stakeholder engagement
Certifications
Master of Business Administration (MBA) or advanced degree in Business or Marketing is a plus
