Commodities Marketing Summer Student

The Opportunity

Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly and monthly reporting on prices, tolling, outages, transportation analytics, and crude blending models.
• Prepare ad hoc reporting and analytics for gas, crude, and NGL commodities.
• Support marketing representatives with infrastructure analytics and trade models.
• Participate in trade confirmations and support regulatory, audit, and credit requests.
• Assist with invoice generation, reconciliation, market research, competitor analysis, and team projects.

What You Will Bring

• Ideally suited for a second- or third-year Commerce, Economics, or related bachelor's student returning to studies after the work term.
• Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong Office 365 skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; data analysis experience is an asset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with integrity and enthusiasm.
• Exposure to Eka, Egistix, or ICE NGX marketing systems is extremely beneficial.
