Key Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-commissioning site surveys to assess readiness, identify potential issues, and coordinate with site teams and contractors.
• Install, wire-check, configure, and program lighting control systems per project specifications and manufacturer guidelines.
• Commission Novomatter mission systems and integrate them with GRMS and building systems as required.
• Perform functional testing, system optimisation, and troubleshooting to ensure systems meet performance and safety standards.
• Carry out maintenance and service visits for existing customers, diagnose faults, perform repairs or adjustments, and provide technical guidance.
• Complete and maintain accurate commissioning, testing, and maintenance documentation: checklists, test reports, punch lists, as-built configurations, and handover packs.
• Coordinate with project managers, site electricians, subcontractors, and client representatives to achieve timely project completion.
• Provide customer training and on-site handover support for end-users and facility teams.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, site safety procedures, and company quality standards.
• Escalate complex technical issues to engineering leads and assist in root-cause analysis and corrective actions.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical and electronic engineering or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in lighting control systems (or similar) platforms and Guest Room Management Systems (GRMS).
• Proven experience commissioning, programming, and troubleshooting lighting control and GRMS integrations.
• UAE driving licence — mandatory.
• Familiarity with relevant communication protocols (e.g., DALI, DMX, BACnet, KNX, Modbus) is a plus.
• Good understanding of electrical schematics, wiring practices, and site installation standards.
• Strong customer-facing skills, ability to work independently onsite, and good written documentation skills.
