Operational Activities
- Follow the instructions and recommendations from immediate Supervisor to complete daily tasks.
- Create a harmonious environment amongst all staff.
- Control cost by minimizing spoilage and waste and exercising proper storage and strict portion control.
- Assist with regular stock takes and inventories.
- Receive orders and arrange storage of food supplies.
- Prepare and cook high quality baked item and other goods according to menu guidelines and recipes.
- Ensure good communication between all staff within the business.
- Assist in maintaining HSE documents from time to time.
- Strictly follow clean-as-you-go policy.
- Help with washing up and other kitchen duties when needed.
- Take on other ad-hoc duties like a true team player.
Knowledge, Skills and Behaviors
- Work well under pressure while maintaining high-quality output.
- Follow correct hygienic food handling practices.
- Follow the business s regular cleaning and waste disposal practices.
- Use safe work practices and support others in using them.
- Maintain all baking equipment, ensuring they remain in good condition.
- Carry out any other duties as advised from time to time.
