Role overview

Cooking and kitchen duties

• Prepare ingredients through portioning, chopping, storing, washing, peeling, weighing, measuring, and mixing.
• Prepare and cook food, including cold foods, to recipes, quality and presentation standards, and preparation checklists.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers; test doneness and monitor food quality.
• Set up and break down the workstation, portion and serve food, clean and disinfect kitchen areas and equipment, and check temperatures.

Safety and teamwork

• Follow safety and security procedures, complete safety training, report maintenance needs and unsafe conditions, and protect company property and confidential information.
• Maintain professional appearance and communication, support team goals, and uphold quality standards.
• Stand or move for extended periods, perform reaching and bending movements, and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.

Preferred qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
• At least 1 year of related work experience preferred.
• No supervisory experience or license or certification is specified.
