Kitchen preparation and production
- Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, cutting, weighing, and measuring.
- Assist senior chefs with batch cooking according to standard recipes and production plans.
- Follow portion sizes and presentation standards across outlets or delivery locations.
- Cool, pack, seal, and label food with preparation dates, use-by dates, and storage instructions.
Food safety and operations
- Follow food-handling, temperature-control, allergen-management, and cross-contamination-prevention procedures.
- Record food temperatures and complete production and hygiene checklists.
- Store ingredients and prepared food correctly using FIFO and FEFO procedures.
- Clean and sanitize workstations, utensils, equipment, and storage areas.
- Support stock checks and report shortages, spoilage, and damaged goods; minimize waste through accurate preparation.
- Prepare orders for dispatch and check quantities and packing accuracy.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and report faults promptly.
- Follow senior-chef instructions and coordinate with production, packing, and dispatch teams.
Pay
- Pay is AED 2,500–2,600 per month.
Work location
- Work location is in person.
Requirements
- Follow established food-handling, temperature-control, allergen-management, and cross-contamination-prevention procedures.
- Follow food storage procedures, including FIFO and FEFO rotation.
- Follow instructions from senior chefs and coordinate with production, packing, and dispatch teams.
