Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior chefs with preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes to restaurant standards.
• Prepare ingredients and maintain organization and cleanliness in the kitchen.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
• Contribute to new dishes and menu development.
• Support the team during peak service periods.
• Monitor stock and report shortages or issues to the kitchen supervisor.
• Assist in other kitchen roles as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Commi 1 Chef or similar role in a reputable restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety standards.
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to high-quality food.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 2,600 per month, with tips also mentioned.

• Work is in person.
