Commercial Real Estate Director

About This Role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Director to lead the strategy, acquisition, leasing, development, and performance optimization of a commercial property portfolio. The ideal candidate will combine strong market knowledge, financial acumen, and leadership ability to drive revenue growth and long-term asset value.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the commercial real estate strategy aligned with business goals.
• Oversee acquisition, leasing, development, repositioning, and disposition of commercial assets.
• Lead market analysis, feasibility studies, and financial modeling for investment and development decisions.
• Negotiate leases, purchase agreements, joint venture terms, and service contracts.
• Manage relationships with tenants, brokers, investors, consultants, contractors, and government stakeholders.
• Monitor portfolio performance, occupancy, rental income, operating costs, and return on investment.
• Supervise asset management, property management, and project teams to ensure strong execution.
• Identify new market opportunities and recommend strategies to improve asset value and revenue.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, planning, and zoning requirements.
• Prepare and present reports, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in commercial real estate, property development, asset management, or investment.
• Proven track record in managing commercial property portfolios and completing successful transactions.
• Strong understanding of leasing, acquisitions, development, valuation, and portfolio strategy.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Strong financial modeling and business case development experience.
• Ability to manage multiple high-value projects and stakeholder groups.
• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, business, economics, or a related field preferred; MBA or equivalent is a plus.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in office, retail, mixed-use, industrial, or hospitality real estate.
• Exposure to cross-border transactions, capital raising, or real estate investment structures.
• Familiarity with local market regulations, planning approvals, and commercial leasing practices.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and external advisors.

Pay: QAR190.00 - QAR325.00 per hour
