Commercial Economics & Pricing
- Develop detailed operating cost models for Hili, including:
- cost per flight hour
- cost per kg transported
- route profitability
- maintenance and operational assumptions
- Build pricing models for aircraft sales, leasing, and Logistics as a Service offerings
- Analyze fleet utilization assumptions, operational scalability, and commercial viability
- Support development of customer ROI models and commercial pricing strategies
Benchmarking & Market Analysis
- Benchmark Hili against:
- regional cargo aircraft
- express air freight operators
- ground transport alternatives
- integrators such as DHL, FedEx, UPS, Emirates SkyCargo, Etihad Cargo, Aramex, and regional logistics providers
- Analyze express cargo revenue models, yield assumptions, and route economics
- Identify market opportunities across:
- middle-mile logistics
- remote cargo delivery
- regional express freight
- warehouse-to-warehouse air corridors
Commercial Support & Strategic Presentations
- Support preparation of customer business cases, pricing frameworks, lease and sale structures, Logistics as a Service commercial strategies
- Build strategic presentations for leadership, investors, and board stakeholders
- Translate complex operational and financial data into clear commercial narratives
- Support commercial negotiations with customers and partners
Qualifications and Experience
- 5-10 years experience in airline cargo, express freight, revenue management, aviation commercial strategy, logistics consulting
- Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Business, Economics, Logistics, Finance, Aerospace or related fields preferred
- Strong understanding of cargo airline economics, yield management, flight hour costing, air cargo pricing structures, fleet operating economics
- Advanced financial modelling capability
- Strong Excel and Powerpoint or similar skills
- Ability to communicate complex commercial and economic models clearly to executive stakeholders
