Role overview

Receiving and inspection

• Verify chilled and frozen products against purchase orders and delivery documents.
• Inspect products for damage, contamination, incorrect labeling, short shipments, and other discrepancies.
• Check and record product and trailer temperatures; confirm products meet food-safety, quality, and customer requirements before acceptance.
• Record quantities, lot numbers, expiration dates, and other traceability information; enter receiving data into the warehouse management or inventory system.

Storage and inventory

• Label, scan, and identify products to support tracking and rotation.
• Direct products to the correct cooler, freezer, staging area, or storage location.
• Use FIFO or FEFO rotation and maintain product segregation requirements.
• Store products promptly to protect the cold chain and prevent temperature abuse.
• Assist with cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies when assigned.

Safety and coordination

• Use forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners, and other equipment safely when trained and authorized.
• Report damaged, questionable, temperature-abused, or nonconforming products to a supervisor.
• Maintain clean and orderly receiving docks, staging areas, and storage spaces.
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, personal hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.
• Coordinate with drivers, warehouse staff, inventory control, quality assurance, and supervisors; complete receiving paperwork and shift handover notes accurately and on time.

Pay

• Pay starts at AED 3,000 per month.

Work location

• Work location is in person.

Requirements

• Follow food-safety, sanitation, personal hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.
• Use forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners, and other equipment only when trained and authorized.
• Maintain accurate receiving paperwork, inventory records, and shift handover notes.
