- The ideal candidate will be skilled in delivering evidence-based CBT interventions to individuals and groups dealing with various mental health issues.
- The CBT Therapist will provide high-quality therapeutic services, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support clients in their journey toward mental wellness.
- ****Key Responsibilities:****
- Therapeutic Services:
- + Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' needs and treatment goals
- + Provide individual and group CBT sessions tailored to the specific needs of clients
- + Utilize evidence-based techniques to help clients understand and change negative thought patterns and behaviors
- Treatment Planning and Evaluation:
- + Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on clients' unique circumstances and needs
- + Monitor and evaluate clients' progress regularly and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- + Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards
- Client Support:
- + Foster a supportive and non-judgmental environment to facilitate open communication and trust
- + Educate clients and their families about CBT principles and techniques to enhance understanding and engagement in the therapeutic process
- + Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
- Collaboration and Professional Development:
- + Collaborate with other healthcare providers, educators, and community organizations to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- + Stay current with research and best practices in CBT and mental health treatment through ongoing education and training
Requirements
- Master's in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
- Valid licensure as a mental health professional
- Specialized training and certification in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
