Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Coffee & Beverage Associate role based in Dubai.
The Coffee & Beverage Associate will prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages in accordance with company standards, recipes, and portion guidelines.
The role includes setting up and maintaining the coffee and beverage stations, ensuring cleanliness, proper stock levels, and correct equipment operation throughout the shift.
The associate will welcome guests, take and process orders, handle payments, and respond to questions about menu items in a courteous and efficient manner.
Daily responsibilities also include following food safety and hygiene procedures, monitoring product quality and freshness, coordinating with kitchen or pantry teams for replenishments, and supporting general cafe or pantry upkeep during and after service hours.
Qualifications
- Strong Food & Beverage knowledge, including familiarity with coffee, tea, and non-alcoholic beverage preparation and service standards.
- Hands-on Food Preparation and Food Service skills to efficiently produce and present beverages and light snacks.
- Sound understanding of Food Safety practices, including hygiene, storage, and handling procedures in line with applicable regulations.
- Excellent Customer Service skills, with the ability to interact professionally, manage queues, and resolve concerns calmly.
- Previous experience in a café, hotel, corporate pantry, or food service environment is preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, manage peak periods, and work flexible shifts as required.
- Good communication skills in English; additional languages commonly used in Dubai are an advantage.
- Basic numeracy and comfort handling cash or POS systems.
- Formal training or certification in food handling, barista skills, or hospitality is an advantage.
