Experience:

  • Previous internships or Co-ops preferred
  • Competencies:
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment. -High learning agility -Strong written and verbal communication and technical writing skills -Analytical approach to problem solving.
  • Experience in the medical device field or other regulated field -Design exposure to embedded software development -Basic understanding and experience with formal documentation processes
  • Knowledge of statistical methods and tools (Minitab, JMP, R, etc.)
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint experience
  • Completed Circuits Design and Computer Engineering basic classes
  • Practiced using MATLAB or LabVIEW in engineering or science courses
  • Ability to assess technical issues and develop solutions utilizing an analytical approach to problem solving

  • The anticipated base compensation range for this position is $27- $32 USD hourly
  • The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role at Smith + Nephew. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
