Club facilities and programmes

Operations and commercial performance

• Lead club pre-opening, launch, and day-to-day operations, ensuring operational readiness and efficiency.
• Develop pre-sales and membership acquisition plans to drive revenue growth.
• Manage P&L, budgets, payroll, manpower planning, cost centres, and operating expenditure.
• Drive membership sales, personal training revenue, member retention, and overall profitability.
• Establish SOPs, operational procedures, KPIs, and reporting structures; monitor results and implement improvements.

People, services, and member experience

• Recruit, train, develop, and manage department heads and operational teams.
• Oversee fitness, personal training, sales, reception, facilities, and group exercise departments.
• Maintain service delivery, facility presentation, equipment maintenance, cleanliness, and member satisfaction.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Marketing, and senior management on business objectives.

Systems and compliance

• Drive use of MyPT Connect for bookings, member engagement, assessments, trainer performance, and operational reporting.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, health and safety requirements, and applicable regulations.

Requirements

• Proven senior management experience in fitness, gym, health club, or wellness.
• Experience in club pre-opening, pre-sales, launch planning, and operational management.
• Strong knowledge of P&L management, budgeting, cost control, and revenue generation.
• Ability to recruit, lead, and develop high-performing teams and department heads.
• Understanding of personal training business models, membership sales, and retention strategies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Commercial focus, strong organisation, and ability to manage multiple departments and achieve targets while maintaining service standards.
• Experience with CRM systems, fitness applications, digital platforms, reporting dashboards, and technology-driven operations.

Preferred experience

• UAE/GCC fitness industry experience and exposure to multi-department gym or health club operations are preferred.
• Familiarity with Reformer Pilates, group exercise programmes, Les Mills, wellness and recovery services, and integrated digital fitness systems is preferred.
