Cloud Native Senior Architect (UAE)

The role

Design and architecture support

• Support design workshops, gather customer requirements, and document the existing technical environment.
• Identify Kubernetes, storage, and backup integration points and document workflows, high availability, disaster recovery, scalability, networking, and security decisions.
• Translate customer cloud-native Kubernetes needs into implementation plans.

Deployment and operations

• Design, install, configure, and maintain Kubernetes clusters and Portworx solutions using Kubernetes manifests and Helm charts.
• Deploy and operate Portworx Enterprise, PX-Backup, and PX-DR across customer Kubernetes environments, on premises and in the cloud.
• Configure Portworx with FlashArray, FlashBlade, or equivalent storage and optimize performance, scale, and reliability.
• Lead API and microservices deployment and day-2 operations, including monitoring and alerting.
• Support relevant CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code workflows, including Jenkins, GitOps, Terraform, Ansible, Chef, and Puppet.

Customer support and delivery

• Handle initial Portworx break/fix support cases and requests for enhancement; collaborate with support and product engineering on timely resolution.
• Validate and test changes before production implementation and remediate issues found during testing.
• Provide customer training and knowledge transfer and communicate status, risks, and outcomes to customer and delivery stakeholders.
• Work with Delivery and Solution Architects, Project Managers, Certified Delivery Partners, system integrators, platform teams, and vendors.

Candidate profile

• Experienced customer-facing technical professional comfortable working directly in customer production Kubernetes environments.
• Able to master containerization and DevOps practices and troubleshoot complex, mission-critical infrastructure under pressure.
