Cloud / Infrastructure Specialist (Hybrid Cloud Strategy & Architecture Advisory)

General Description

Current State Assessment

• Assess existing infrastructure, cloud platforms, and hosting environments across on-premises, private cloud, and public cloud ecosystems
• Review current cloud service offerings, operating models, platforms, and technologies
• Identify strengths, risks, gaps, and opportunities for improvement aligned with industry best practices
• Evaluate infrastructure readiness and cloud maturity across the organization

Hybrid Cloud Strategy & Architecture

• Define target-state hybrid cloud architecture and operating model
• Assess and recommend appropriate public cloud, private cloud, and hybrid cloud solutions
• Develop a strategic cloud transformation roadmap aligned with business objectives
• Establish architecture principles, governance frameworks, and cloud adoption guidelines
• Define workload hosting strategies, scalability models, resiliency approaches, and service design principles
• Provide recommendations around build-versus-adopt decisions and technology selection.

Workload Assessment & Cloud Placement

• Analyze application and infrastructure workloads across environments
• Establish workload classification and profiling methodologies
• Define decision frameworks for workload placement across on-premises, private cloud, and public cloud environments
• Recommend automation approaches for workload assessment and migration planning.

Ai Infrastructure Strategy

• Assess current AI infrastructure capabilities and organizational readiness
• Define AI infrastructure architecture aligned with hybrid cloud objectives
• Recommend hosting strategies for AI, machine learning, and data-intensive workloads
• Develop frameworks for assessing AI workload requirements and optimal deployment locations
• Provide strategic recommendations for future AI platform adoption and scalability.

Stakeholder Engagement & Advisory

• Engage directly with executive stakeholders, cloud leadership teams, and infrastructure management
• Facilitate workshops, architecture discussions, and strategic planning sessions
• Present findings, recommendations, and future-state architecture to senior leadership
• Produce architecture artifacts, assessment reports, roadmap documents, and executive presentations

Required Experience

• 12+ years of experience in Infrastructure Architecture, Cloud Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, or Hybrid Cloud Consulting
• Proven experience assessing and designing hybrid cloud environments across on-premises, private cloud, and public cloud platforms
• Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure, data centers, virtualization, networking, security, and cloud technologies
• Experience developing cloud strategy, cloud operating models, and cloud transformation roadmaps
• Strong knowledge of public cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Experience with private cloud platforms, virtualization technologies, and enterprise infrastructure environments
• Experience conducting cloud assessments, infrastructure reviews, and architecture advisory engagements
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business-focused recommendations
• Consulting background or experience delivering strategic advisory engagements is highly preferred
• Government sector experience is highly preferred
• UAE/GCC experience is a strong advantage
• Arabic speaking capability is advantageous
• Immediate or short-notice availability is highly preferred
