Compounding Pharmacist (Cosmetic Focus)Job Description:
A Compounding Pharmacist is responsible for preparing personalized medications by mixing, combining, or altering ingredients to meet the specific needs of a patient or client. In the context of cosmetic products, the pharmacist formulates creams, ointments, gels, and other skincare preparations based on dermatological or aesthetic requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate custom cosmetic creams based on prescribed formulations or client/patient needs.
- Prepare dermatological compounds, such as anti-aging creams, pigmentation treatments, acne formulations, and moisturizing creams.
- Ensure accurate weighing, measuring, and mixing of active pharmaceutical and cosmetic ingredients.
- Collaborate with dermatologists, plastic surgeons, or skincare professionals to develop tailored skin treatments.
- Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical compounding standards and cosmetic regulations.
- Maintain proper documentation for each formulation and batch.
- Monitor stability and shelf life of cosmetic compounds.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 24 months
Pay: From AED6,000.00 per month
Education:
- Bachelor's (Preferred)
Experience:
- Cosmetic and skincare : 1 year (Preferred)
- Compounding Pharmacist (Cosmetic Focus): 1 year (Preferred)
Language:
- Arabic or Tagalog (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- DHA (Preferred)
Work Location: In person
