Key ResponsibilitiesTherapy Monitoring
- Review patient medical records, lab results, and medication history to assess and adjust the appropriateness, dosage, and safety of drug regimens.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Participate in ward rounds and consult with doctors and surgeons to design evidence-based medication plans.
- Patient Education: Counsel patients on how to take their medications correctly, explain potential side effects, and verify medication adherence before discharge.
- Adverse Event Prevention: Identify and resolve potential medication errors, adverse drug reactions, and dangerous drug-to-drug or drug-to-food interactions.
- Drug Information Resources: Serve as an expert resource on drug dosing, administration routes, and pharmaceutical availability for the broader healthcare team.
- Pay: From QAR14,000.00 per month
