Role Overview
Responsible for maintaining smooth and efficient flow of patients in clinic, performing functions delegated by nursing and physician staff and maintaining and promoting a safe, clean and organized environment for the delivery of care.
Also provides clerical support for the assigned clinic.

Experience
- Previous experience in a pediatric healthcare environment preferred
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Currently registered with the State of Wisconsin Registry for Nursing Assistants to be eligible for employment in the basic provider settings, or certified as one of the following: Clinical Certified Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant. Registry/certifications not required to be renewed after hire.
- Proficient data entry skills with accuracy and speed preferred
- Interpersonal skills necessary to gather and share information with physicians, patients, visitors, families, and team members in a courteous and confidential manner.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and prioritizing skills necessary to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks done simultaneously.
- Licenses and Certifications:
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/National Safety Council required
- Please note that this is a 20 hour/week position requiring the following hours:
- 5 shifts per pay period are required.
- 11:30am-8pm M-F
- Every 3rd weekend required: 11:30am-8pm
