Civils Operatives

Reporting to our foremen, duties include but are not limited to: General civils construction operations. Drainage, pipe laying, concrete. Hand digging around complex services. Promotion of safety within safety critical environment. Holding permits to work, etc.

Follow all site health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

Report hazards, unsafe conditions, and near-misses to supervisors.

Participate in toolbox talks, site briefings, and site inductions.

Assist in maintaining site standards, cleanliness, and organisation.

Identify obvious defects or issues and report them to supervisors.

Report any incidents, near-misses, or safety concerns to Ganger or Site Engineer.

Work under the supervision of a Ganger, Site Supervisor, or Site Manager

Communicate effectively with colleagues and report Issues promptly.

Support the team to meet daily targets and maintain site efficiency.

CSCS Card

Applicants will need to be reliable and responsible with a good awareness of health and safety in the workplace and a strong work ethic.

CPCS / NPORS 360 above / below 10 tonne.

CPCS / NPORS Dumper & Roller.

NVQ Level 2 Civil Engineering / Construction / Groundworks.

Confined Space Awareness.

Previous experience in a relevant construction operational role (3+ Years).
