Qualification

• Diploma in Civil Engineering (mandatory) or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (preferred)
• Relevant technical certifications in construction/site supervision will be an added advantage
• HSE certifications (such as OSHA or NEBOSH) are preferred
• Minimum 10 years of experience (Qatar Energy experience minimum 3 years)

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all on-site civil construction activities to ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedule.
• Monitor daily site progress, manpower deployment, and equipment utilization to achieve productivity targets.
• Ensure compliance with project quality standards and implement QA/QC procedures in coordination with the QA/QC team.
• Enforce strict adherence to HSE policies and ensure all workers follow safety regulations and site procedures.
• Review drawings, method statements, and work plans; provide technical guidance to site teams.
• Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and other disciplines (MEP, structural, etc.) to avoid delays and conflicts.
• Conduct site inspections and identify issues; implement corrective actions in a timely manner.
• Maintain daily progress reports, site logs, and documentation of work activities.
• Ensure proper material handling, storage, and usage at site to minimize wastage.
• Support project engineers in planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Verify work measurements and assist in preparation of progress billing and reports.
• Attend site meetings and communicate updates to senior management.
