Role Description
The Civil QA/QC Inspector is a full-time, on-site role based in the United Arab Emirates.
This role is responsible for performing day-to-day quality inspections on civil works, including structural, concrete, and finishing activities, to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements.
The Civil QA/QC Inspector reviews and verifies construction materials, monitors workmanship, and documents inspection findings, non-conformities, and corrective actions.
The role involves coordinating with site engineers, construction teams, and subcontractors to resolve quality issues and support continuous improvement.
The Civil QA/QC Inspector also assists in implementing project quality plans, prepares inspection reports and checklists, and supports audits and testing activities to maintain consistent quality performance.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in quality disciplines, with skills in Quality Control and Quality Assurance.
- Experience in Quality Management, including implementation of project quality plans and procedures.
- Hands-on Inspection skills for civil works, materials, and construction activities.
- Specialized capability in Welding Inspection for relevant structural and steel works.
- Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Professional certifications in QA/QC or inspection (e.g., ISO, welding inspection) are an advantage.
- Familiarity with international construction standards and codes applicable to civil engineering.
- Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and ability to prepare clear inspection reports.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with multidisciplinary site teams.
- Prior experience in large-scale EPC or infrastructure projects, preferably in the Middle East or similar regions.
