Estimation and tender responsibilities
- Review tender documents, architectural and structural drawings, and BOQs to determine waterproofing and coating scope.
- Prepare measurement sheets and quantity take-offs for materials and work in basements, roofs, wet areas, and foundations.
- Estimate materials, manpower, machinery, scaffolding access, subcontractor costs, and site overhead.
- Source, analyze, and negotiate supplier and specialist contractor quotations.
- Prepare bid submissions, compliance statements, methodologies, and risk inclusions or exclusions.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications; prepare bids, proposals, and bills of quantities.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, clients, and suppliers to manage budgets and timelines.
Preferred qualifications
- A bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Two years of civil engineering experience is preferred.
