- Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates for civil construction projects.
- Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure estimates align with project goals and constraints.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits to assess project scope and conditions.
- Maintain and organize drawing files and related documents in accordance with company standards.
- Assist in the preparation of tender submissions, bid documents, and project proposals.
- Monitor cost trends and provide feedback on project budgeting and forecasting.
- Support value engineering and cost-saving initiatives.
