Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Civil Engineer role based in the Riyadh Region.
The Civil Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, and supervising construction and infrastructure projects in alignment with local regulations and SHAR’s quality standards.
Daily responsibilities include preparing engineering drawings and technical reports, coordinating with project managers and site teams, and performing site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and structural requirements.
The role also involves contributing to stormwater management solutions, reviewing contractor work, and assisting in resolving technical issues during project execution.
The Civil Engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Qualifications
- Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design skills, with the ability to apply engineering principles to infrastructure and construction projects.
- Planning skills to develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocations for civil works.
- Knowledge of Stormwater Management and related drainage systems to design effective and compliant solutions.
- Experience working as part of teams of Civil Engineers, coordinating with other engineering disciplines and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field; professional certification or registration is an advantage.
- Proficiency with relevant engineering and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools).
- Strong understanding of local building codes, safety standards, and construction regulations in Saudi Arabia.
- Effective communication and report-writing skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly.
- Proven ability to work on-site, manage multiple tasks, and solve problems in a fast-paced project environment.
