Civil & Architectural Inspector

KEN International Project Management LLC is a multidisciplinary project management, supervision, and engineering consultancy operating across the UAE.

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented

to join our growing supervision team in Abu Dhabi.

The Civil & Architectural Inspector will be responsible for monitoring and inspecting construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, project requirements, and quality standards.

The role involves close coordination with Resident Engineers, contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to support the successful delivery of projects.

Conduct site inspections for civil, structural, and architectural works.

Review Inspection Requests (IRs) submitted by contractors.

Verify that construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.

Monitor workmanship and construction quality on site.

Inspect architectural finishing works including blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, screed, flooring, ceilings, painting, joinery, façade, and external works.

Witness testing activities and material installations as required.

Identify non-conforming works and assist in the closure of NCRs and corrective actions.

Prepare daily inspection reports and maintain accurate inspection records.

Coordinate with Resident Engineers and project teams to resolve site issues.

Support snagging, testing & commissioning, handover, and close-out activities.

Ensure compliance with project quality, safety, and contractual requirements.

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

3–6 years of experience

in construction supervision, quality control, or site inspection.

Experience in building construction projects, villas, hospitality, residential, or mixed-use developments.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Familiarity with inspection procedures, quality assurance processes, and construction standards.

Strong communication and reporting skills.

UAE experience is preferred but not mandatory.

A valid UAE Driving Licence is preferred.
