To provide specialized evidence-based psychological assessment, formulation and therapy, and make autonomous clinical decisions about own professional practice.
Provide consultation and advice on psychological therapies to clients, their families, non-psychology colleagues and others as needed (while abiding to ethical and confidential rules and regulations).
To work with children.
Minimum Requirements
- DHA/DOH/CDA/MOH Valid License or eligibility to obtain the same.
- Master’s degree in clinical psychology with practicum and internship experience
- At least 2 years postmaster experience working as a licensed clinical psychologist.
- Licensed in country of origin (mandatory)
Responsibilities
- To work autonomously to provide high quality evidence-based therapies to patients.
- Manage a caseload of patients with responsibility for assessment (including risk), formulation and therapy.
- To spend a minimum of seven out of eight hours engaged in face-to-face and/or virtual work with patients each day (pro-rata for part time staff) unless otherwise agreed.
- To offer assessment; routine (i.e., interviews) and complex assessments to patients (i.e., risk assessment, psychometric, and/or neuropsychological where appropriate etc.) and provide reports when necessary.
- To proactively contribute to the achievement of good/ethical clinical outcomes for patients and evaluate the efficacy of the therapies provided using standardized outcome measures.
- To manage patient risk ethically and effectively.
- Communicate with patients and their families in a way that is ethical, open, sensitive, empathic, and caring.
- To work with multidisciplinary teams and colleagues to develop comprehensive care plans.
- To make appropriate referrals when necessary and be responsible for following these up.
- Teaching, training, and supervision if needed/appropriate
- Participate in monthly clinical supervision – internally and/or externally.
- To deliver teaching/training/presentations when required. Collaboration with other branches and/or Clinical Lead(s) to make sure things are Unified.
