Lead supervision of a large bridge and infrastructure project based in Abu Dhabi as the supervision consultant.
Serve as technical authority and strategic leader, guiding resident engineers and coordinating stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical oversight and quality assurance from feasibility and detailed design through construction management and commissioning.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources while maintaining cost-effectiveness and minimizing risks.
- Conduct structural analysis and design reviews using industry-standard software and methodologies.
- Develop and implement risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
- Mentor and supervise resident engineers and technical staff.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, environmental regulations, and quality standards.
- Analyze site conditions, geotechnical data, and environmental factors to inform engineering decisions.
- Prepare technical reports, design documentation, and project recommendations for senior management and clients.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, sustainable design practices, and industry innovations.
Qualifications
- At least 20 years of professional civil engineering experience, including at least five years in a senior or resident engineer/construction manager capacity.
- Experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects with budgets exceeding AED 50 million.
- Professional engineering license or equivalent civil/structural engineering certification.
