Role Description
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will provide strategic financial leadership for the Israel-UAE Business Network, overseeing financial planning, budgeting, and cash flow management.
This part-time hybrid role is based in Dubai, with a mix of on-site work and the option to work from home for certain responsibilities.
Day-to-day tasks include managing financial reporting, reviewing financial statements, monitoring compliance with relevant regulations, and advising leadership on financial risks and opportunities.
The CFO will collaborate with senior stakeholders to support funding strategies, optimize resource allocation, and ensure transparent financial communication to partners and members.
The role also involves implementing internal controls, supporting audits, and contributing to long-term financial strategy for the network’s growth.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Finance and Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide clear recommendations.
- Candidates should possess skills in Financial Planning and budgeting to support strategic decision-making and resource allocation.
- Candidates should possess experience in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements and ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Financial Reporting, including developing timely reports for internal leadership and external stakeholders.
- Professional qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field; advanced certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) are an advantage.
- Proven experience in senior financial leadership roles, preferably within international, non-profit, or network/association environments.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across cultures and time zones.
- High level of integrity, sound judgment, and familiarity with regional financial regulations and cross-border transactions.
