Chief Financial Officer (CFO) - Real Estate Development

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company's financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
• Manage project finance, cash flow, working capital, cost control, and overall financial performance.
• Oversee project financing, banking relationships, contractor payments, and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, RERA requirements, and internal financial controls.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounts team.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a CFO or in a senior finance leadership role.
• Mandatory UAE real estate development experience, including managing projects from acquisition to completion.
• Strong expertise in developer finance, construction finance, project cash flow, costing, and financial feasibility analysis.
• Hands-on experience with RERA Escrow Accounts, contractor billing, procurement budgets, and escrow compliance.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (Zoho, Odoo, or similar), advanced Microsoft Excel, and financial reporting tools.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and financial compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, or CMA is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE accounting standards, VAT, corporate tax, and financial compliance.
