Chief Financial Office - Financial Controller (regulated role)

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the main registered finance contact point with SAMA.
• Handle regulatory communications and submissions, most of which are in Arabic.
• Manage external and internal audits and resolve resulting issues efficiently.
• Manage regulatory and taxation returns, including monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns.
• Validate and control month-end revenue and cost bookings with front-office and operational teams.
• Facilitate month-end balance-sheet substantiation as the secondary Finance owner.
• Coordinate with business management and infrastructure functions on internal controls.
• Assist with New Product Approval cross-functional risk-assessment checklists.
• Provide onshore KSA coverage for other core Finance roles as directed.

Skills and Experience

• Solid banking and markets Finance experience is required.
• Fluency in spoken and written Arabic is required for regulator communications and submissions.
• Experience in an international or large domestic banking or securities environment is required.
• Strong product accounting knowledge for vanilla Markets and Banking products is required.
• The ability to analyse and communicate operational or product-booking risks and deliver solutions is required.
• A recognised Accounting Qualification is preferred, together with a minimum of six years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of Deutsche Bank core Finance systems and financial data standards, including SAP, Janus, BCS, and FIM, is required.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills are required.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work independently are required.
