- 核心工作活動
- 管理酒店運營和工程預算
- 在工程總監缺勤的情況下監督工程部。
- 協助管理機械設備，包括設備、製冷、暖通空調、管道、水處理、電氣和防火安全系統。
- 以最佳的效率、效能和安全性維護和操作設備。
- 建立並管理有效的客房維護計劃。
- 確保遵守所有工程部政策、標準和程序。
- 管理部門可控開支以實現或超越預算目標。
- 選擇並訂購或採購新設備、用品和傢俱。
- 檢查和評估設施的物理狀況，以確定所要求工作的類型。
- 推薦或安排額外的服務，如噴漆、維修工作、裝修，以及傢俱和設備的更換。
- 監督工程部的日常運作。
- 維護酒店標準
- 根據需要維護準確的日誌和記錄。
- 協助有效地規劃、安排和評估預防性維護計劃。
- 提供卓越的客戶服務
- 高效處理客人的問題和投訴。
- 授權員工提供卓越的客戶服務。

- 管理盈利能力
- 幫助確定酒店總體維護需求的優先事項。
- 確保在所有責任領域進行持續溝通，以提高業務目標意識、對期望的認識和對示範績效的認可。
- 管理和開展人力資源活動
- 慶祝成功並公開表彰團隊成員的貢獻。
- 建立和維護與員工的開放協作關係。
- 確保員工受到公平、公正的對待。
- 努力改善服務表現。
- 根據對服務行為的觀察，向員工提供回饋意見。
- 監督員工執行部門和酒店應急程序的能力。
- 審查員工滿意度結果，並識別和解決員工的問題或疑慮。

- 幫助確保對設備法規和安全標準的法規遵從性。
