Position overview

Experience and qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in rank as Chief Engineer.
• At least 2 years of experience in rank on DP2 jack-up barges or lift boats, with suitable DP2 lift boat or jack-up barge experience.
• Degree from a recognized Maritime Academy or University.
• Valid Chief Engineer Unlimited Certificate of Competency (STCW A-III/2) and national Certificate of Competency with applicable flag-state endorsement or recognition.
• Valid DP system manufacturer-approved DP Maintenance Course.
• Valid BOSIET/FOET with HUET and Seafarer Medical Fitness Certificate (STCW I/9).
• Valid Basic Safety Training (STCW A-VI/1), Survival Craft and Rescue Boats (STCW A-VI/2-1), and Advanced Fire Fighting (STCW VI/3).
• Valid Medical First Aid and Medical Care (STCW A-VI/4-1 and A-VI/4-2), Security Training (STCW A-VI/6), Management Level Course (STCW A-III/2), and Engine Room Resource Management (STCW A-III/2).

Responsibilities

• Serve in the Chief Engineer role on an offshore lift boat in Qatar.
