Chief Engineer

What this job involves:

What your day-to-day will look like:

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related technical field preferred
• 7+ years of building operations and maintenance experience
• 3+ years of supervisory experience managing engineering and maintenance teams
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, boiler, and mechanical/electrical systems
• Experience with commercial building systems and critical facility operations
• Proven ability to hire, train, and manage staff performance
• Solid understanding of regulatory compliance requirements and safety program implementation

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional Engineering (PE) license
• Facilities management certifications (CFM, FMP, SFP)
• HVAC, electrical, or mechanical systems certifications
• Experience with critical facilities such as data centers, hospitals, or laboratories
• Knowledge of energy management, sustainability programs, and CMMS systems
• Familiarity with building automation systems and predictive maintenance technologies
• Understanding of building commissioning and performance optimization practices

• 85,000.00 – 90,000.00 USD per year
• Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
