Experienced Chief Accountant with a strong background in the hospitality industry, responsible for managing hotel accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, revenue control, cost analysis, and compliance with financial regulations.
Skilled in overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, inventory control, and hotel revenue audits.
Hospitality-Specific Responsibilities
- Manage all hotel accounting and financial operations.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Monitor hotel revenues, occupancy-related income, and daily revenue audits.
- Control operating costs and analyze departmental expenses.
- Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes.
- Perform bank reconciliations and cash-flow management.
- Coordinate annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Support external and internal audits.
- Work closely with hotel management to improve financial performance and profitability.
