Role Description

This is a part-time, remote role for a Chemistry Teacher.

The teacher will prepare and deliver engaging chemistry lessons, cater to individual student needs, and simplify challenging concepts through 1-1 online sessions.

Responsibilities

include creating lesson plans, helping students solve problems, and providing constructive feedback to enhance their understanding of chemistry concepts.

Availability during flexible hours to support students globally is a key aspect of this role.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Chemistry Education, with a solid understanding of subject concepts and adaptability to different academic levels.
  • Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Teaching methodologies tailored to individual learning needs.
  • Effective Communication skills to explain complex ideas clearly and build rapport with students.
  • Experience or knowledge of Physics is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Education, or a related field required; advanced degrees or certifications are advantageous.
  • Proven experience in teaching or tutoring students, especially in a remote or online learning environment, is highly desirable.
  • Ability to maintain an engaging and positive learning environment while working independently.
