Role overview

Location and work arrangement

• Location: 25 Wolseley Court, Cambridge, Ontario.

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
• 40 hours per week.

Employment and pay

• Contract opportunity for 18 months.
• Pay: $30.45 per hour.

Primary duties

• Perform routine and non-routine analytical tests on incoming, in-process, bulk, finished, stability, complaint, and other samples.
• Conduct chemical, functional, and compendial testing using approved methods and laboratory equipment.
• Complete assigned special studies, investigations, and cleaning, process, and other validation testing.
• Review analytical data and other analysts' work for accuracy, completeness, GMP, data integrity, and quality compliance.
• Maintain, calibrate, and use laboratory equipment under approved procedures and safety requirements.
• Report deviations and out-of-trend, suspect, or out-of-specification results and support investigations and follow-up.
• Provide records and technical laboratory support for audits and perform assigned analytical method transfers.
• Follow applicable GMP, regulatory, quality, safety, and company requirements.

Basic requirements

• Degree or diploma in Chemistry or a related discipline.
• One to two years of pharmaceutical or related-industry experience is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills; able to manage multiple priorities.
• Able to work in a self-directed team environment and proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Empower and LIMS experience are assets.
