Mission of the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Sample Testing : Perform chemical analysis and testing of raw materials, finished products, and other samples as per prescribed procedures.
• Laboratory Operations : Handle laboratory instruments, glassware, chemicals, and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Test Results & Documentation : Accurately record test observations and results, maintain laboratory records, and prepare test reports.
• Quality Control : Ensure testing is carried out according to company procedures and applicable ISO/ASTM/AATCC/BIS standards.
• Equipment Maintenance : Perform routine checks and basic maintenance of laboratory equipment and immediately report any malfunction.
• Chemical Handling & Safety : Follow laboratory safety procedures, chemical handling guidelines, PPE requirements, and proper waste-disposal practices.
• Calibration & Standardization : Assist in calibration, standardization, and verification of laboratory instruments and solutions.
• Team Coordination : Coordinate with senior chemists, lab technicians, and quality teams to complete testing activities within timelines.

Qualifications, Experience and Technical Skills

• B.Sc M.Sc in Chemistry
• Key Skills
• Good understanding of basic Chemistry and laboratory techniques
• Knowledge of chemical testing and analysis
• Good observation and analytical skills
• Basic computer and documentation skills
• Willingness to learn laboratory procedures and standards
• Good communication and teamwork skills
