Overview
**Job Title:** Sales Engineer – Chemicals (Home & Personal Care Products)
**Location**: Abu Dhabi, UAE
We are looking for a results-driven Sales Engineer for our client who are one of the largest manufacturers of chemicals in the GCC.
Key Requirements & Responsibilities
- Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline with strong foundational knowledge of chemical raw materials and formulations
- Minimum 4 years of experience in chemical sales, technical sales, or a closely related commercial role
- Experience in Home & Personal Care (HPC) segments — surfactants, emollients, preservatives, fragrances, or specialty ingredients — is a strong advantage but not mandatory
- Ability to understand customer formulation needs and translate them into viable product or technical solutions
- Identify and develop new business opportunities while managing and growing existing accounts
- Coordinate with internal technical and R&D teams to support product trials, approvals, and customer sampling
- Engage confidently with procurement, R&D, and production stakeholders across customer organizations
- Deliver consistently against revenue targets and sales forecasts
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Willingness to travel for client visits, trade shows, and industry events
- Prior exposure to specialty chemicals, chemical distribution, or trading environments is a plus

- Bachelor's (Required)
