The role manages a restaurant station, delivers high-quality food and beverage service, and supports the service team.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests; manage an assigned station and maintain smooth service flow.
- Take and serve food and beverage orders according to company standards; maintain table setup, cleanliness, mise en place, and station readiness.
- Know menu ingredients, allergens, beverages, and daily specials; make recommendations and support upselling.
- Monitor guest satisfaction, respond to requests, and handle minor concerns or escalate when needed.
- Coordinate with the kitchen, bar, hostess, runners, and service team to support timely service.
- Guide junior waiters and runners; complete opening, closing, and side duties.
- Comply with hygiene, food safety, health, safety, grooming, and company standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Chef de Rang, Senior Waiter, Waiter, Captain Waiter, or in a similar F&B service role.
- Strong experience in restaurants, cafés, hospitality groups, hotels, or high-volume F&B operations.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and sequence of service; ability to manage a station independently during busy operations.
- Strong guest-service, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills; professional appearance and attention to detail.
- POS system experience is an advantage; fine-dining or international hospitality experience is an advantage.
- Willingness to relocate to Kuwait.
