Chef de Partie and Demi Chef de Partie – Pastry role in a fast-paced hospitality kitchen.
Manage the pastry section, produce high-quality desserts, maintain consistent presentation, and support kitchen operations to brand standards.
Pastry section responsibilities
- Prepare, bake, and present pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to standardized recipes.
- Maintain consistent taste, texture, and presentation in line with brand guidelines.
- Oversee mise en place and daily pastry production planning.
- Monitor stock, reduce waste, and maintain food cost control.
- Maintain hygiene and food safety standards in compliance with HACCP guidelines.
- Supervise and guide commis chefs and junior staff in the section.
- Assist with new dessert concepts and seasonal menu items.
- Coordinate with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to support smooth kitchen operations.
Requirements
- At least 2–5 years of pastry or bakery operations experience.
- Prior DCDP or CDP – Pastry experience in an artisan bakery, hotel, café, or restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, dessert plating, and pastry production.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment; team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Immediate availability to join is preferred.

Pay
