Seeking a Certified Databricks Instructor to deliver technical training and enable professionals to build practical skills on the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
The role combines Databricks expertise with instructional and communication skills to deliver engaging learning for technical professionals and enterprise clients.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver instructor-led Databricks training, workshops, and technical enablement sessions.
- Facilitate theoretical and hands-on learning, guiding participants through labs, exercises, demonstrations, and real-world use cases.
- Explain data engineering, analytics, AI, and lakehouse concepts clearly.
- Prepare and maintain training environments, materials, exercises, and supporting documentation.
- Adapt delivery to participant backgrounds, evaluate progress, and provide constructive technical feedback.
- Stay current with Databricks developments and practices; support internal and client enablement while maintaining high learner-experience standards.
Required qualifications
- Active relevant Databricks certification(s) and strong hands-on Databricks platform experience.
- Experience delivering technical training, workshops, or enablement sessions.
- Strong understanding of data engineering, analytics, lakehouse, or related data concepts.
- Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication; able to explain complex concepts to varied audiences.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Preferred qualifications
- Databricks instructor accreditation or previous official Databricks training experience; multiple Databricks certifications.
- Experience with Apache Spark, PySpark, SQL, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog.
- Knowledge of Azure, AWS, or GCP; enterprise client training experience.
- Arabic is a plus. Consulting, professional services, or technology training experience is preferred.
